Law enforcers, in special drives detained 32 people including six drug traffickers from different areas of Dinajpur district in last 12-hour ending at 8 am on Saturday morning.
Law enforcers also seized 304 bottles of phensidyl and 118 pieces of yaba tablets during the drives.
Police said they were picked up from different areas of the district on different charges.
During the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested eight suspects including two drug pedlars, Birampur Thana police arrested three, Phulbari Thana police arrested two, Biral Thana police arrested another persons, Chirirbandar Thana police arrested three people including two drug traders with 118 pieces of Yaba tablets, Birganj Thana police arrested four, Khansama Thana police detained two, Kaharole Thana police also detained two, Bochaganj Thana police arrested two people and Hakimpur Thana police arrested two more.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the arrestees, the sources added.
Meanwhile, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive detained two drug suspects with 304 bottles of phensidyl around 11 pm from Hili Railway Station in Hakimpur upazila of the district, said a BSS report.
Later, the detainees were handed over to the Hakimpur Thana police, BGB said.
The arrested suspects were sent to jail.
