An unidentified youth was killed as a covered van rammed his bicycle on Jessore - Jhenidah road in Jessore district area on Saturday.
Police said the youth, aged about 18, was going toward Churamon Kathi area riding his bicycle when a covered van rammed it in front of Binodia gate of Jessore Cantonment on Jessore-Jhenidah road around 9:45am, leaving him critically injured, reports UNB.
Later locals rescued him and took him to the Jessore General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
