Court to remain closed on Oct 25-28 marking Durga Puja

The Appellate Division and the High Court Division of the Supreme Court will remain closed from October 25 to 28 on the occasion of the Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bangalee Hindu community, reports BSS.

The decision was taken at a full court meeting which was joined by the judges of the Supreme Court’s both divisions, said a Supreme Court notification signed by Registrar General Md Ali Akbar.

The notification has already been posted on the website of the apex court.

According to the release, the both divisions (Appellate Division and the High Court Division) of the Supreme Court will remain closed on October 25, 27 and 28 on the occasion of the Durga Puja while the court will remain closed on October 26 which is a public holiday.
