DSCC Administrator Shahjahan to serve as Dhaka WASA MD in additional capacity

The Administrator of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), Md Shahjahan Mia, has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA).

The Local Government Division (LGD) announced this in a notification issued on Sunday.

According to the notification, Mr Shahjahan has been transferred to the development wing of the LGD.

Alongside his current role, it said, he will serve as both DSCC Administrator and Dhaka WASA Managing Director in an additional capacity.

The notification, signed by LGD Deputy Secretary Md Akbar Hossain, stated that the appointment was approved by the competent authorities.

It added that Mr Shahjahan’s assumption of additional responsibilities would take immediate effect.
