Thirteen more candidates have collected nomination papers on the second day of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union election process, including three for the vice-president post.
On Wednesday, Chief Returning Officer Prof Mohammad Jasim Uddin said 18 forms had been collected for hall union elections from 18 halls, with four candidates already submitting them.
This brings the total to 20 forms taken over two days, with seven sold on Tuesday—two of them for VP.
Forms can be collected until 4pm on Aug 19, with scrutiny on Aug 20 and candidate lists released on Aug 21. Withdrawal is on Aug 25, final lists on Aug 26, and voting on Sept 9.
