A fire that broke out on the fifth floor of Sundarban Square Market in Dhaka's Gulistan has been brought under control nearly an hour after it started.
Fire Service official Talha Bin Jasim said 11 units rushed to the spot and contained the fire by 11:12 am on Saturday, reports bdnews24.com.
The fire was first reported around 10:00 am.
“Upon receiving the call, the first unit reached the scene at 10:03am. Gradually, 11 units joined the operation,” said Talha.
The cause and extent of damage have yet to be determined.
