Nahid meets Chief Adviser Yunus

National Citizens Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam met Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus on Thursday evening, amid speculation on social media that the interim government head may be considering resignation.

Party sources said Nahid arrived at Yunus’s official residence, Jamuna, around 7pm and held a private discussion focused on his remaining in office, Prothom Alo reports.

Nahid confirmed the meeting but declined to comment further.

Later in the evening, Advisers Mahfuj Alam and Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan also met with the Chief Adviser.
