Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has apprised Bangladesh of the diplomatic measures Pakistan took in retaliation to such steps taken by India, Bangladesh Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain said on Tuesday.
Talking to the reporters at his ministry, he said Pakistan did not seek any assistance from Bangladesh as the Pak FM made a telephone call to him on Monday night.
"I told them that Bangladesh wants peace in this region, and that conflict will not bring any good to anybody," he added.
Asked whether the foreign ministry had any communication with India over the current Indo-Pak tension after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the adviser said India did not communicate with Bangladesh in this regard.
If they contact us, we will give the same message, he added.
