Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has retained her five advisors of the previous tenure for the new government.
The advisors are: HT Imam (Political Affairs), Dr Mashiur Rahman (Economic Affairs), Dr Gowher Rizvi (International Affairs), Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury (Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs) and Major Gen (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique (Security Affairs).
The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette notification on Monday in this regard, as per agencies’ reports.
They will enjoy the status and privileges of ministers while in their posts, added the notification.
