BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the party’s 31-point vision is being realised through the ongoing state reform process.
He addressed a rally at 3:30pm on Wednesday outside the party’s central office in Dhaka’s Naya Paltan, marking the July Uprising anniversary.
Fakhrul told supporters the election schedule would be announced soon.
He noted that the current restructuring efforts reflect the agenda set out by BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Calling for a renewed commitment to the country’s future, Fakhrul said: “Let us pledge today to build a truly happy and prosperous Bangladesh.”
Tarique joined the rally virtually from London.
