Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organiser of the National Citizen Party for the southern region, has warned against doing ‘politics of compromise’ on the Awami League issue.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday evening, he said, “Come to a decision on the Awami League issue very soon. Otherwise, I will behave impolitely with those who are doing politics of compromise.”
Hasnat Abdullah wrote, “Awami League processions have started growing from the day our anti-Awami League stance and opposition to politics of compromise started being called impolite.”
His statement came after the video of a procession of Awami League leaders and activists was circulated on social media.
Many Awami League supporters shared the video on Facebook and wrote that the procession was led by a local former Chhatra League leader in the capital’s Badda area.
