Metro rail services have resumed after coming to a halt due to a technical glitch for around one hour and 45 minutes.
The disruption began at 2:45pm and services resumed a while before 4:30pm after the glitch was resolved, local media reported.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited's (DMTCL) operates the metro rail services.
DMTCL’s Public Relations Officer Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan was quoted as saying that the services were halted due to a technical issue.
He, however, did not say what type of a technical glitch it was.
