A technical glitch has resulted in disruption of metro rail service in Dhaka since 5:20 pm on Saturday.
Officials told FE that the service may have faced network issues in a place between Shewrapara and Shahbagh stations.
They also informed that efforts are underway to resume operations as soon as possible.
Local news portals said that during a visit to Mirpur 11 station, ticket counters were found closed and passengers were seen stuck inside the station due to the network problem.
