Wanted 'Boma Kamal' held with firearms in Chuadanga

Police arrested a suspected extremist along with 'firearms' from Belgachchi village in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga on Thursday night.

Tipped off, a police team cordoned off a house at the village around 8:00pm and arrested Kamal alias 'Boma Kamal' along with one shooter gun, said Akram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Alamdanga Police Station, reports UNB.

Boma Kamal, son of Saheb Ali, was wanted in seven cases, including that of murder, extortion, and bomb attack, the OC added.
