Yunus, Tarique meet in London; joint press conference follows

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman met at the Dorchester Hotel in London yesterday morning.

The meeting was followed by a joint press conference attended by representatives from both sides around 4pm Bangladesh time.

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam, National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman, and BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury attended the press conference.

Earlier, the meeting began at 9am local time (2pm Bangladesh time) and ended at 10:30am. Tarique Rahman left the venue shortly after the talks.
