The United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) has announced its Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 term, with Mahiyan Araf Siam elected as Vice President.
Samin Mohtadi has been elected President of the new committee, while Anna Anonna Biswas will also serve as Vice President. The Secretarial team comprises Rubaiyat E Jannat Neha, Ahadul Islam, Farhan Ishraq Haque, and Mubarrashir Al Mafi.
Among the Assistant Secretaries, Ashiqur Rahman and Mahbubur Rahman will oversee Media and Documentation; Sumaiya Ikram and Ikram Hossain will lead Research and Development; Ahnaf Tajwar and Fatima Israq Kabya will handle Communications; Abdur Bari Rifat and Raihan Katowal Primo will be responsible for Creative and Graphics; Muhammad Mujtaba Qadir will manage Logistics; Suraiya Khan Diya will oversee Administration; and Sushmoy Saha will handle corporate affairs and Finance.
The Executive Members include Shafikur Islam Shakib, Miftahul Jannat Tahiya, Tasnim Tibat, Umama Khan Ohee, Aushafur Rahman, Meherun Mridha, Nadia Khanam, Tahzabun Nesa, Tasnim Nur Raiya, Rafi Al Morsalin, Sanjida Afrin Heaven, Asif Ahmed Siam, Israt Jahan Eshita, Lamia Tabassum Naboni, Yashrib Ahmed, Farhan Anjum Ain Afi, and Anindita Islam.
Currently studying Computer Science at Georgia State University in the United States, Siam said he aims to strengthen UNYSAB as a platform and enhance its engagement with the United Nations.
The newly formed committee has pledged to expand the organisation’s activities and strengthen international collaboration during the upcoming term.
