Standard Chartered showcases one-stop banking solutions for NRBs in Dubai               

Standard Chartered has recently showcased Swadeshi Banking, a one-stop suite of banking solutions, for non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) in Dubai.

With Swadeshi Banking, Bangladeshi expatriates in Dubai are able to avail a full suite of NRB banking services through a dedicated NRB Helpdesk at Standard Chartered in Bangladesh, according to a statement.

The desk facilitates various banking solutions, through which NRB clients will be able to avail convenient solutions such as easy money transfers, invest in NRB bonds and avail attractive home finance solutions.

Clients will be able to choose from a range of accounts depending on their needs, from Foreign Currency Account, Non-Resident Taka Account, Non- Resident Exclusively Remittance-fed Taka Account to Joint Account with a resident Bangladeshi.

The offering was showcased as part of "The Rise of Bengal Tiger: Potentials of Bangladesh Capital Markets", roadshow held in Dubai recently.

The roadshow was organised by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC). Naser Ezaz Bijoy, CEO; Alamgir Morshed, Head of Financial Institutions; and Lutful Habib, General Manager, Priority Banking, Deposits and Mortgage along with other senior officials represented Standard Chartered Bangladesh during the roadshow.
