The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has suspended four individuals, including cricketer Amit Majumdar, over allegations of breaching anti-corruption regulations in the BPL 2025–26 season.

The charges include corrupt conduct, involvement in betting activities, non-cooperation with anti-corruption investigations, and obstruction of inquiry proceedings, based on findings from the BCB Integrity Unit.

The other suspects are Chattogram Royals Logistics Manager Lablur Rahman, Sylhet Titans Manager Rezwan Kabir Siddique, and Noakhali Express co-owner Towhidul Haque.

All four have been placed under temporary suspension and instructed to respond to the allegations within 14 days of receiving the notices.

Amit Majumdar has never played a BPL match but featured in the 2008 and 2010 Under-19 World Cups.

Despite a long domestic career, he never broke into the national team.

The 35-year-old left-handed batter has played 58 first-class matches, 99 List A games and six T20s.

He currently represents Rupganj Tigers in the Dhaka Premier League and played against Gazi Group Cricketers on the day of his suspension.
