Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan, chairman of the Facilities Management Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), is likely to lose his BCB post, reports UNB.
"The board president (Nazmul Hasan) cleared it earlier that if he (Lokman) is found guilty, we will take action against him.
We are waiting (for the decision of the court in his case)," Jalal Yunus, chairman of Media and Communication Committee of BCB, told reporters on Monday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city.
"We may discuss the matter in the next board meeting," Jalal further told media.
Lokman, also the Director in Charge of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, is currently in police custody. He was arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on September 25 on the charge of illegal possession of foreign liquor.
Lokman is accused of running illegal casino on the Mohammedan Sporting Club premises in the Motijheel area of the capital.
