A two-member delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) has travelled to Dhaka to discuss the next election to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

The delegation comprising Mohammed Moosajee of Cricket South Africa and Tavengwa Mukuhlani of Zimbabwe Cricket reached Dhaka on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the ICC had confirmed that its representatives would visit Bangladesh.

The ICC advisory said both board members will “engage with stakeholders regarding the situation in Bangladesh including the BCB electoral process”.

The delegation is likely to leave Dhaka on Tuesday night.

The BCB elections are scheduled for Jun 7.
