The Board of Directors of Marico Bangladesh has declared a 200 per cent interim cash dividend based on nine months’ financial performance for the period ended on December 31, 2021.

The record date for entitlement of interim cash dividend is set on February 15, said the company in a filing on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

This is the third interim cash dividend declaration by the multinational company for the year that will end on March 31, 2022 as its fiscal year counted for April-March.

The company paid the same amount of interim cash dividends twice for this fiscal year after reviewing first quarter and second-quarter financial performance.

The company has reported EPS of Tk 27.35 for October-December 2021 as against Tk. 22.68 for October-December 2020.

Its nine months EPS was Tk 90.08 for April-December 2021 as against Tk 79.35 for April-December 2020.

The NOCFPS was Tk 101.75 for April-December 2021 as against Tk. 101.79 for April-December 2020.

The NAV per share was Tk 82.04 as on December 31, 2021 and Tk 53.25 as on December 31, 2020.

“The revenue growth was driven by overall volume growth through a healthy mix in the portfolio,” the company said in a statement after its board meeting on Monday.

The performance is led by the growth in the coconut oil, hair oils, shampoo and baby care portfolios.

The company also launched its Parachute Just For Baby Shampoo during the last quarter extending its range of baby care products.

Each share of the company, listed on the DSE in 2009, closed at Tk 2333.40 on Monday.
