178th meeting of Board of Directors of Midland Bank PLC held

The 178^th meeting of the Board of Directors of Midland Bank PLC was held on March 31, 2026, in the Board Room of the bank’s Head Office at Gulshan, Dhaka.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting, according to a press release. 

Members of the Board of Directors of the bank Master Abul Kashem, Rezaul Karim, A.K.M. Badiul Alam, Hafizur Rahman Sarker, Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, Shahnaj Parveen, Mohammed Jamal Ullah, Alhaj Mohammed Helal Miah, Independent Director Riaz Ahmed Choudhury and MD & CEO Imtiaz U. Ahmed were also present at the meeting along with other high officials of the bank.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman, along with other members of the Board, welcomed Imtiaz U. Ahmed, newly appointed MD & CEO of the bank, by handing over a flower bouquet.
