Al-Arafah Islami Bank holds Training Workshop on Investment Risk Management

A three-day training course titled “Investment Risk Management” has started at the Bank’s Training Institute (AIBTI) at Al-Arafah Islami Bank on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, inaugurated the training program as the Chief Guest, according to a press release.
In his speech, the chief guest said that effective investment risk management is not just a regulatory obligation, but an essential element in ensuring the sustainable growth of the bank.
He mentioned that as an Islamic bank, it is very important to ensure safe and quality investments in line with Shariah principles and maintain the trust of depositors.
He urged the participating officials to maintain the quality of investments through responsible and prudent investment evaluation, risk identification, ensuring necessary documentation, and regular monitoring.
He said that timely and accurate investment evaluation plays a helpful role in preventing many future risks and complications.
The program was presided over by Senior Executive Vice President & Principal of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) Md. Abdur Rahim Duary.
The bank’s Senior Assistant Vice President SM Zulker Nayeen, Md Mazharul Alom, Assistant Vice President Md. Jashim Uddin and senior officers were present at the workshop.
A total of 48 executives and officers from various branches and head offices of the bank participated in the training program.
This three-day training will enhance the professional skills of the participants and make the bank’s investment activities more integrated and effective.
