Chinese digital payment giant 'Alipay' Thursday officially started their operation in Bangladesh to utilise the country’s growing financial market.
To that end, Ant Financial, mother company of Alipay, signed an agreement with local leading digital payment platform bKash.
Under the agreement, Alipay will provide technological and other services with the aim to serve both unbanked and banked people in a more efficient and secured way.
The Chinese company is currently providing financial service to around 800 million users globally.
