Corporate agreement signed between Bengal Islami Life Insurance & Unico Hospital for Healthcare Services

A corporate agreement was signed between Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited and Unico Hospital PLC to provide healthcare services to Health Takaful customers on Wednesday (01 April 2026).

M.M. Monirul Alam, Chief Executive Officer of Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited, and Ardra Kurien, Chief Executive Officer of Unico Hospital PLC., signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, according to a press release.

Present at the signing ceremony were Mohammed Alamgir Kabir, Chief Operating Officer of Bengal Islami Life Insurance; Md. Anisur Rahman Sumon, Head of Claims & Hospital Network Department and Senior Vice President of Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited; Sharmin Hossain, Chief Financial Officer of Unico Hospital PLC.; Ruby Rebeca Areng, General Manager of Healthcare Development & Public Relations Department; and Rezaul Karim, Senior Manager of Corporate Relations of Unico Hospital PLC., among others.

Under this corporate agreement, Health Takaful customers of Bengal Islami Life Insurance Limited will enjoy cashless facilities.

Additionally, all policyholders, company officials and employees, along with their dependents, will receive special discounts on all types of medical tests and diagnostic services.
