IFIC Bank hosts a workshop titled ‘Cluster Financing 2025 – Munshiganj District’

Under the directive of Bangladesh Bank and with the theme ‘Integrated Development and Financing’, IFIC Bank- the country's largest bank in terms of branch and uposhakha network-successfully organised a day-long workshop titled ‘Cluster Financing 2025 – Munshiganj’.
According to a press release, the event took place recently at a convention centre in Munshiganj Sadar, in collaboration with 32 Government and Private Banks.
The event was presided over by Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Branch Business at IFIC Bank. Mr. Ataul Goni Osmani, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Munshiganj, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Other distinguished guests included Mr. Mohammad Kazi Humayun Rashid, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin and Finance), Munshiganj Zilla Police; Ms. Jannatul Ferdous Tania, Joint Director, SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank; and Mr. Mohammad Golam Rabbani, Assistant Director from the same department.
In his remarks, Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam stated, “Cluster financing carries a transformative message for the country's Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector.” The welcome address was delivered by Ms Ferdousi Begum, Head of SME & Retail Products. In accordance with Bangladesh Bank’s directive, IFIC Bank served as the lead bank in organising this workshop.
