Investment Summit day 5: Focus on Africa-Bangladesh newer cooperation

The Ministry of Commerce and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) hold a webinar titled “Trade & Investment Cooperation of Africa and Bangladesh: Towards a new trajectory” today (Saturday).
Planning Minister MA Mannan is scheduled to join the webinar as chief guest while Mr AHM Ahsan, Vice Chairman & CEO,l of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), will attend as special guest.
The webinar has been organised as part of "Bangladesh Trade and Investment Summit 2021" inaugurated by the prime minister on October 26.
It may focus on how Bangladesh and Africa enjoy long-standing bilateral and multilateral trade and socioeconomic ties and also how Bangladesh can use this platform as an effective mode of transformation for mutual exchange of knowledge, expertise, products and services.
The discussants are expected to offer suggestions for addressing obstructions that impede expansion of trade and investment between Bangladesh and African region.
The webinar will also try to suggest ways to tap untapped potentials of Bangladesh and African region.
