In alignment with the global observance of International MSME Day, officially marked on 27 June each year, IPDC Finance PLC has been celebrating this occasion throughout June 2025 with a series of initiatives.

The occasion aims to recognize the invaluable role that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play in driving economic growth and inclusion, according to a media release.

The celebration kicked off earlier this month with a special training session on the newly issued Master Circular, held in the presence of representatives from the Bangladesh Bank.

The session focused on improving awareness, interpretation, and practical application of updated regulatory and financial frameworks relevant to MSMEs.

As part of the month-long observance, IPDC organized a nationwide celebration across all 17 of its branches on Thursday, 26 June 2025, one day ahead of the official date, to ensure broader participation ahead of the weekend.

The simultaneous celebrations were designed to engage both employees and MSME clients, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable financial growth, the release says.

Each branch was festively decorated with colorful balloons and banners, creating a vibrant atmosphere in honor of IPDC’s valued MSME partners.

Cake-cutting ceremonies were held to symbolize the shared success and enduring partnership between IPDC and the MSME sector.

Alongside the celebrations, branches also hosted interactive training sessions, further promoting financial literacy and regulatory awareness among staff and stakeholders, according to the release.

Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC., stated, “This day serves as a meaningful reminder of the strength, resilience, and innovation that MSMEs bring to the nation. We are proud to stand beside them as a trusted financial partner, and this month-long celebration reaffirms our continued commitment to their empowerment and progress.”
