Md. Ataur Rahman, a client of the North Shahjahanpur sub-branch in Dhaka, has received a motorcycle after receiving cash remittance through Ria Money Transfer at Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.
Md. Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of the bank, handed over the motorcycle key to the client as the chief guest at a ceremony organised at the bank’s VIP Road Branch on Wednesday, according to a media release.
Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director; Md. Noorullah, head of VIP Road Branch; Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, head of Overseas Banking Division; Mohammad Masum Billah, in-charge of North Shahjahanpur Sub-branch of the bank; and Rashedul Islam Talukder, Country Manager, and Md. Arafat Hossain, Assistant Manager (Operations) of Ria Money Transfer, Bangladesh, also attended the programme.
On the occasion of the holy Ramadan, a total of 20 motorcycles will be gifted—one for each banking day (Sunday–Thursday)—through a digital raffle draw among those receiving cash remittances through Ria Money Transfer at Islami Bank.
Remittance recipients will also receive common gifts. This offer will continue until March 18, 2026, the release adds.
