Islami Bank holds Quarterly Business Development Conference

The Quarterly Business Development Conference for 9 Zones and 4 Corporate Branches of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on Wednesday at the bank’s head office, according to a press release.

The conference reviewed the bank's performance for the period of January-March 2026.Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of the bank, presided over the conference. Md. Altaf Hossain, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, & Dr. M Kamal Uddin Jasim, Additional Managing Directors, along with Deputy Managing Directors, senior executives of the Head Office, Heads of the 9 Zones, and Heads of the 4 Corporate Branches were present on the occasion.

In his speech as the chairperson, Md. Omar Faruk Khan said that Islami Bank had two founding slogans: "Based on Islamic Shari’ah" and "Pioneer of welfare-oriented banking" which are still enlightened guides in our journey. He instructed on expanding business, including import-export, carrying technology-driven remittance services to the doorstep of the peopleand above all, playing a greater role in the economic development of the country.
