Main Uddin, a client of the Cumilla Nangalkot branch, and Mohammed Ziaul Huq, a CellFin user of the Feni branch, have won the 19th and 20th motorcycles, respectively, in the Cash Remittance Festival by receiving remittance through Ria Money Transfer at Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.
Main Uddin received the prize against a remittance sent by Nasir Uddin, an expatriate in the USA and Mohammed Ziaul Huq won his prize for a remittance sent by Mohammed Mominul Hoque, an expatriate in South Africa, according to a press release.
Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of the Bank was present as chief guest at the digital raffle draw held at Islami Bank Tower on March 29, 2026, Sunday.
Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Motahar Hossain Mollah, Head of Foreign Remittance Services Division, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, head of Overseas Banking Division, Md. Daud Khan, Head of Foreign Trade Processing Division of the Bank and Rashedul Islam Talukder, Country Manager & Md. Arafat Hossain, Assistant Manager Operations of Ria Money Transfer, Bangladesh also attended the program.
Mentionable that on the occasion of the holy Ramadan, Islami Bank launched this initiative for customers receiving cash remittances via Ria Money Transfer. A total of 20 motorcycles were awarded through a digital raffle draw held every banking workday (Sunday to Thursday).
