Apparels Village Limited is proud to announce that its Director Mirza Faiyaz Hossain is contesting in the BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association) Panel Election for the 2025–2027 session.
With over 17 years of experience in the readymade garments (RMG) sector, Mr Hossain is not only a seasoned industry professional but also a next-generation leader with a vision rooted in long-term growth, financial independence, and modernisation. As the Director of Apparels Village Limited (AVL), a fully loan-free factory employing over 6,000 people and generating over $60 million in annual turnover, he has demonstrated what’s possible through discipline, strategic planning, and relationship-building.
“We’ve always believed that if you manage things responsibly, you don’t need to rely on loans,” Mr Hossain shared. “Stability gives you freedom to grow and take necessary risks.” He emphasizes the need for smarter, more accessible financing solutions, particularly for SMEs and emerging factories that often struggle despite strong performance.
As a BGMEA panel candidate, Mr Hossain is committed to advocating for financial sustainability, practical support for SMEs and public investment grants in research and development (R&D) to keep pace with global innovation and enter diversified markets.
Known for his pragmatic leadership style, he believes in using data to drive change and solving challenges with calm, evidence-based strategies. His background also spans retail, youth development through sports, and tech-driven ventures, making him a versatile voice for progressive leadership in Bangladesh’s RMG landscape.
“It’s not just about being green,” he adds. “It’s about running a business that can survive ups and downs, take care of its people, and stay competitive.”
Apparels Village Limited expresses full support for Mirza Faiyaz Hossain in this important step and is confident in the value he will bring to the BGMEA and the broader garment sector.
