Mannan Bapari CERM, FCMA, Shahana Parvin FCMA, Md Iqbal Hossain ACMA, CFA, FRM and Md Kamruzzaman FCMA have been elected Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer respectively of the Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for the year 2026, says a press release.
They were elected at the first meeting of the 41st Dhaka Branch Council held on Saturday (February 14).
Mannan Bapari CERM, FCMA is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Southeast Bank PLC. He earlier held the positions of Treasurer of the DBC in 2021, Secretary in 2023 and Vice-Chairman in 2024.
Shahana Parvin FCMA is working as Senior Finance Manager at icddr,b. She previously served as Treasurer of the DBC in 2022 and Secretary in 2024.
Md Iqbal Hossain ACMA, CFA, FRM is serving as CFO and Head of Treasury of Sonali Bank PLC. He was the Treasurer of the DBC in 2023.
Md Kamruzzaman FCMA is working as Vice President (A&F) and Company Secretary of Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Ltd.
