NRBC Bank presents performance awards to 9 branches, sub-branches

NRBC Bank PLC has recognised its top-performing branches and sub-branches with Performance Awards for the year 2024, according to a press release.

A total of 9 branches and sub-branches were awarded in three categories—Urban Branches, Rural Branches, and Sub-Branches—at the bank’s Strategic Business Conference held recently at a hotel in Dhaka.

Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, Chairman of NRBC Bank, was present as the chief guest, while Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, presided over the event. Distinguished members of the Board of Directors, including Independent Directors Md. Abul Bashar, Md. Anwar Hossain, Md. Nurul Haque,  Chairman of Risk Management Committee,  and Md. Muhammad Emdad Ullah, FCA, Chairman of Audit Committee also attended the program.

The awards were presented based on service effectiveness, customer service quality, and overall operational excellence. In the urban branch category, Tongi Branch received the Platinum Award, while Mirpur Branch and Hatirpul Branch received the Gold and Silver Awards respectively. In the rural branch category, Ruhitpur Branch was awarded Platinum, Charabagh Branch received Gold, and Ruppur Branch achieved the Silver Award. Among the sub-branches, Rampura Sub-Branch secured the Platinum Award, followed by Raipur Sub-Branch with Gold, and Daganbhuiyan Sub-Branch with the Silver Award.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania remarked, “These awards are a testament to the consistent performance and professionalism of our branches and sub-branches. Each branch/sub-branch has worked diligently to meet set targets while maintaining high service standards.” He also personally handed over the awards to the respective managers and urged all employees to continue upholding the values of professionalism and excellence across all levels of operations.
