Port will remain open during Eid holidays

Despite the closure of all government offices, banks and other financial institutions, Chittagong port, the prime seaport of the country, will continue its operation under special management during the Eid holidays.

Secretary of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Syed Reffayet Hamim said, "Chittagong port will remain open during the Eid holidays. The operational activities will, however, remain suspended from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Eid day only. On the other days, the port will remain operational under special arrangements."
