Shareholders of Dutch-Bangla Bank approved 30pc dividend for the year 2025

Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC held its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM through a virtual platform.

The AGM was chaired by Ms. Sadia Rayen Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank. The Chairman welcomed the honorable shareholders to the AGM, according to a press release.

The Audited Financial Statements of the Bank for the year ended December 31, 2025 were placed before the AGM.

The shareholders approved the Financial Statements and 30% Dividend (25% cash dividend and 5% Stock Dividend per share) for the year 2025.

During the meeting, shareholders made various observations & suggestions on the performance of the Bank.

Total assets of the Bank as of 31 December, 2025 stood at Taka 817,797.6 million compared to Taka 679,875.5 million of 2024 registering a growth of 20.3%. Loans and Advances of the Bank stood at Taka 450,503.8 million at the end of 2025 with a growth of 5.1% over Taka 428,689.4 million at the end of 2024. The deposits grew up by Taka 100,185.5 million to Taka 622,057.8 million in 2025 from Taka 521,872.5 million at the end of 2024 showing a growth of 19.2%.

In 2025, profit before tax of the Bank stood at Taka 15,911.6 million and profit after tax stood at Taka 9,647.7 million. Earnings Per Share (EPS) was Taka 9.98 and Capital to Risk-weighted Asset(s) Ratio (CRAR) under Basel III stood at 17.1% at the end of 2025 against the Bangladesh Bank’s minimum requirement of 12.50%.

The meeting approved the re-appointment of Ms. Sadia Rayen Ahmed and Mr. Md. Fakhrul Islam as Directors of the Bank and also approved the appointment of Mr. Manjur Ahmed and Mr. Mohammad Jahangir Alamas Independent Directors of the Bank.

The meeting also appointed Aziz Halim Khair Choudhury, Chartered Accountants as the external auditor and Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants as Corporate Governance Compliance Auditor of the Bank for the year 2026.
