Shimanto Bank PLC inks MoU with Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC

Shimanto Bank PLC has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC (DESCO) at the DESCO’s Head Office.

Under this agreement, DESCO clients will be able to perform bill payments through Shimanto Bank’s Internet Banking (app & web) and Branch network, according to a media release. 

The MoU was signed by Md. Nurul Azim, Managing Director & CEO, Shimanto Bank PLC, and Eng. S.M. Shah Sultan, Company Secretary, Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC (DESCO), on behalf of their respective organizations.

Brigadier General Shameem Ahmed (Retd), Managing Director, Md. Kamrul Islam, Md. Kamrul Islam, PEng. Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), Dhaka Electricity Supply PLC (DESCO), Md. Sahidul Islam, Head of Business, Sharif Zahirul Islam, Head of Cards & ADC, Md. Shajib Rahman, Branch Manager, Gulshan Branch, Shimanto Bank PLC, along with senior officials from both institutions were present during the signing ceremony.
