Southeast University holds workshop on genetic and clinical data management

The Department of Pharmacy of Southeast University organided a workshop on "Genetic and Clinical Data Management" under the HEAT Project aiming to improve knowledge and skills in modern healthcare and biomedical research.

The university is implementing a research project titled "Identification of Host Genetic Markers Associated with Susceptibility, Severity, and Outcomes of Coronavirus Disease: Implications for Future Pandemic Management" (Project PIN: 11044) under Window-1 of the HEAT Project.

The primary objective of the workshop was to bring together academics, researchers, and students to highlight the importance of genetic and clinical data management in modern healthcare and biomedical research and to enhance knowledge and skills in this field.

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Nusratun Nahar, associate professor of the Department of Pharmacy and Sub-Project Manager of the HEAT Project.

Professor Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice-chancellor of Southeast University, attended the event as the chief guest.
