Standard Bank holds orientation programme for 11th Batch MTOs

Shari’ah-based Standard Bank PLC organised an Orientation Programme for its 11th batch of Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) at the conference hall of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry on July 3, 2025.

Mr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, was present as the chief guest at the ceremony.

Managing Director and CEO Md. Habibur Rahman presided over the programme where Directors of the bank S.A.M. Hossain and Gulzar Ahmed, were present as special guests.

Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director along with senior executives of the bank was also present at the programme.

Mohammed Abdul Aziz, in his keynote address, welcomed the newly appointed MTOs to the world of Shari`ah based banking and advised them to uphold service culture, Islamic values and principles in every aspect of their professional life.

Mr. Habibur emphasized the importance of adhering to Shari'ah principles and called upon the newcomers to devote themselves with their talent and dedication to ensure the overall growth of the bank.
