The Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB) is organising the sixth AHCAB International Expo to promote innovation, investment, and sustainable growth in Bangladesh’s animal health, fisheries, and livestock sectors.
The three-day expo will be held from January 8 to 10 at an international convention centre in the city.
The theme of the expo is “Healthy Animals, Prosperous Nation.”
The announcement was made at a press conference held on Monday at the National Press Club in the capital, organised by AHCAB.
AHCAB President Saimul Haque, Secretary Anwar Hossain, Vice President Dr Abdus Sabur, Joint General Secretary Dr Mohammad Sarwar Jahan, Treasurer Dr Md Mozammel Haque Khan, Organising Secretary Mohammad Rashedul Zakir, and President of fisheries and livestock reporters forum Munna Raihan, among others, were present at the event.
At the press conference, AHKAB officials said that companies from 14 countries, including China, India, Egypt, Romania, Turkey, and Vietnam, will take part in the expo.
A total of 128 foreign stalls and 65 international exhibitors will participate, along with leading local companies and institutions.
