Uber, the world's largest on-demand ride-sharing company, has announced the launch of 'Premium', an in-app upscale ride option, reports BSS.
When booking a 'Premium' ride, riders can expect: 1) Superior premium quality sedans and 2) Specially trained driver partners, said a media release.
Riders will now be able to select and enjoy a plush ride every day. This product was first rolled out as a pilot that has received encouraging response from both riders and driver partners.
How to book a 'Premium' ride: 1. Open the Uber app and enter your destination. Ride options will show up at the bottom of the screen. 2. Swipe to find PREMIUM and 3. Confirm your pickup point and you're all set to go.
Arpit Mundra, General Manager, Uber Dhaka said, "At Uber, we are constantly looking for ways to enhance rider experience through technological innovations and locally relevant products.
"We are thrilled to launch Uber Premium in Dhaka and provide our riders a premium ride option that matches the experience of one's own car. Uber is determined to reduce traffic congestions by providing alternatives to personal car ownership," she added.
