Union Bank holds 10th meeting of its newly-formed Audit Committee

The 10th meeting of the newly formed Audit Committee of the Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s head office in the Gulshan-1 area of Dhaka on Monday (12 May).

Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA presided over the meeting, according to a media release.

Member of the Audit Committee & Independent Director Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed, Mr. Md. Jahangir Alamand Mr. Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

The EVP & CFO of the bank Mr. Md. Ali Reza, FCMA, CIPA was also present. In the meeting the audit report of various branches of the bank and related issues were reviewed.
