Explosion at a Tongi factory

A big explosion took place at Tampaco Foils ltd, a packaging factory in Tongi. This has cast a shadow of gloom over the country. The death toll so far is 24 and the number is likely to increase. Many were seriously injured. The explosion was so big that it shook the nearby buildings like a massive earthquake. The factory has a chemical store house and so it took a long time for the fire fighters to extinguish the fire. The building was totally destroyed.
Sadly, the safety issue is always ignored in our country.  We do not always remember that we should obey safety rules strictly as one moment of carelessness may ultimately prove to be fatal. In this case, the workers of the factory were busy with their work on the eve of Eid holidays when the accident occurred. The cause of the explosion is not yet known. The tragic incident marred the jubilant mood of the nation. Let us pray for the departed souls and early recovery of those who were injured.
