At least two people have been killed and 10 others seriously wounded after a train derailed near Milan in Italy on Thursday, TV channels RaiNews24 and SkyTG24 reported citing emergency services.
A spokesman for state train firm Ferrovie dello Stato contacted by Reuters confirmed the news.
He said an accident occurred in Pioltello, some 40 kilometres from Milan.
But he did not give any details on the potential casualties.
