Bangladesh is now working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), says the speaker.
“Bangladesh has made significant marks in socio-economic development indicators .... And the country is now working to achieve the sustainable development goals,” Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said on Thursday while Robert D Watkins, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bangladesh, made a call-on her at her Jatiya Sangsad office.
During the meeting, they dwelt on different aspects of mutual cooperation.
They also discussed about constitution, parliamentary procedures, electoral process and activities of the UNDP. source – BSS
