Tipu urges Iran to expand trade with Bangladesh

Commerce minister Tipu Munshi has urged Iran to work together with intent to expand trade and commerce with Bangladesh by fortifying bilateral ties between the two Muslim countries.

He made the request during a courtesy meeting with Iranian ambassador Mansour Chavoshi at commerce ministry on Wednesday.

Mr Tipu said Iran has good trade relations with Bangladesh and is one of the important trading partners in the Middle East.
