BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is scheduled to return home this morning from London, according to party sources.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, son of Khaleda Zia, already bade her farewell in London on Monday.
Khaleda Zia will arrive in Dhaka around 10:30am today by a royal air ambulance sent by the emir of Qatar.
Along with Khaleda Zia, her two daughters-in-law - Dr Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Sharmila Rahman - are also coming back home.
Khaleda Zia's return from the UK after four months is expected to see huge presence of party supporters.
Meanwhile, the party has asked its leaders and activists to maintain discipline while welcoming its chairperson.
On the other hand, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has requested the party men not to throng the road to welcome Khaleda Zia.
He made this request in a Facebook post on Monday, urging law enforcement agencies to take measures to ensure that none can take to the main roads on Tuesday, a day for SSC examination.
Earlier, BNP instructed that Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP would be stationed from the airport to Kakoli to Sheraton Hotel in Banani to Banani kitchen market to Gulshan-2.
All leaders and activists will stand on the roadsides, holding the party and national flags.
Motorcycles will not be allowed to accompany the BNP chairperson's car. They will not be allowed to walk either.
Apart from this, none will be allowed to enter the airport and the BNP chairperson's residence.
