Padma Bridge gets record toll of Tk 49.06m in 24hrs

The Padma Bridge authorities have collected Tk 49.06 million (Tk 4,90,67,050) in tolls on Tuesday, the highest daily tally since the structure opened to traffic on June 26, 2022.

A total of 45,204 vehicles crossed the bridge during the period, according to a media report.

Some 30,330 vehicles accessed the bridge from the Mawa end, and 14,874 other vehicles accessed the bridge from the Zajira end during that time accounting for Tk Tk 49.06 million of the total revenue.
