The deadline for submitting nomination papers for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election has ended.
A total of 658 nomination forms were collected for 28 posts, but only 509 were submitted, leaving 149 forms unreturned.
Chief Returning Officer Jasim Uddin shared the development at a press conference at the Senate Building on Wednesday afternoon
They did not announce the number of nominations that were submitted for each post.
Jasim said the number of candidates contesting for each post will be revealed on Thursday.
“We will first scrutinise the nominations and then publish the draft list of candidates,” he added.
