NSU puts more than 10,000 aspirants to the test

North South University (NSU) conducted its Undergraduate Admission Test for the Summer 2026 Semester on Saturday, with the examination running from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on the university campus.

More than 10,000 candidates attended the examination, each seeking a place in one of the university's four distinguished schools: the School of Health and Life Sciences, the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the School of Business and Economics.

After inspecting the examination halls, Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, vice-chancellor of North South University, addressed the guardians present, saying, "At NSU, we are committed not only to educating students but also to developing them into good human beings. Recently, NSU has achieved notable success in various rankings. We thank you for placing your trust in us. I hope the new students will actively contribute to sustaining NSU's continued success, while building their own futures and playing a role in the country's progress."

Professor Nasar U Ahmed, pro vice-chancellor of North South University, said, "This time, a record number of students sat for the admission test. We highly appreciate the strong interest shown by prospective students. Through the collective efforts of the entire NSU family, we remain committed to ensuring quality education."

Professor Nurul Kabir, director of the Undergraduate Admissions Office at NSU, said, "The Undergraduate Admission Test for the Summer 2026 Semester was completed smoothly. The results will be published on NSU's official website later this week."

Professor Abdur Rob Khan, treasurer of NSU; Dr Ahmed Tazmeen, registrar; NSU Proctor Professor Abdul Khaleque as well as deans, directors, and other senior officials from various departments were also in attendance. Applicants are advised to monitor the official NSU website for updates regarding the Summer 2026 undergraduate admission test results.
